PHYLR:

JIM COLEMANPHYLR - JIM COLEMAN - czołowa postać nowojorkskiej kapeli COP SHOOT COP, która wydała w latach 1989-1996 cztery albumy w Interscope Records. W 1997 roku powołał do życia audiowizualny projekt PHYLR, pod którego szyldem ukazały się dwa wydawnictwa w Invisible Records. Utwory PHYLR były często wykorzystywane w filmach i produkcjach telewizyjnych. Obecnie Jim współpracuje z włoskim kompozytorem i muzykiem TEHO TEARDO. Wspólny album BROOKLYN BANK ukazał się w Europie w Polygram Rec. Kolejny jest w fazie powstawania.

Solo and Band History:
1989 - 1996: Samplist and primary figure in Cop Shoot Cop, a seminal NYC band. Signed to Interscope Records, CSC released 4 full length albums as well as a slew of EP's and singles. Years of touring both in the US and Europe made CSC a "must see" live act. CSC songs ended up seeing heavy rotation on BBC 1, KROK (LA), as well as numerous college stations.
1997 - 2000: Sole creator of Phylr, a cinematic electronic venture. 2 releases on Invisible Records. Phylr songs have found homes in a number of films and television shows. Numerous US shows integrated live musicians with electronics. 1999 - present: Here: A collaboration with Italian based composer and musician Teho Teardo. The album Brooklyn Bank was released through Polygram Records in Europe. Here toured extensively in Italy, achieving heavy rotation on Italian MTV. A second record is currently in the works.
